Pohanka Automotive Group has been a proud partner to the communities we serve since our first location opened in downtown Washington, D.C. in 1919. We employ over 1,700 people who live and work in these communities, and for 106 years we have demonstrated our dedication to our neighbors through continued support of charities, schools, youth programs, and community-based organizations in Chantilly, greater Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., Maryland and Texas.

Flood Relief Efforts: Honda of Boerne Stands with Kerr County
In the wake of the devastating floods that impacted Kerr County, Honda of Boerne and the Pohanka Automotive Group were proud to launch a major community support initiative to help our future neighbors.
As we prepared to join the area, with Boerne soon to be our new hometown, our hearts truly went out to everyone affected. Inspired by the resilience of the Texas spirit, we knew we had to act quickly to support the community. In a demonstration of our commitment, the Pohanka Automotive Group will match every public donation dollar-for-dollar, up to a total of $25,000.
Fueling Futures: Honda of Boerne Supports the Wild Game Dinner
Honda of Boerne is proud to sponsor the 2024 and 2025 Kendall County Wild Game Dinner. This event's official magazine serves as the primary fundraiser for the Kendall County Jr. Livestock Association. The Association's mission is to serve the youth of Kendall County by promoting education and agriculture.
The funds raised through the magazine's advertisements, including Honda of Boerne's contribution, directly support local youth through scholarships, educational programs, and leadership/camp programs.
Cycling Towards a Better Community
The Tour de Boerne isn't just a scenic ride through the Hill Country—it’s a powerful engine for local charity.
Honda of Boerne is thrilled to continue our support for the Tour de Boerne, a commitment we began in 2023. Having hosted over 1,000 riders and 500 guests in 2025, this event is a testament to the strength and generosity of our community.
